Domenic Serafino

Chief Executive Officer and Director

Domenic brings over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry. Domenic was a partner and President of Canada’s largest laser distribution company, Sigmacon Group, for over six years. In 2001, he joined Syneron as President for North America, and was instrumental in taking the company public on Nasdaq in August 2004. During Domenic’s tenure at Syneron, the company grew from $0 to $1.3 billion market cap in less than five years.

Domenic Della Penna

Chief Financial Officer

Domenic brings considerable expertise and experience to Venus Concept, having held senior posts at several industry leading multinationals like Teva Pharmaceuticals, Diageo and Nestle. Most recently, he was CFO of Intellipharmaceutics International Inc.—a Nasdaq and TSX listed public company. Domenic also secured private equity experience through a successful mandate as CFO of Timothy’s Coffees of The World. He has made significant contributions to numerous mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financial systems, and organizational change mandates. Domenic is a C.A., CPA, and holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University (Toronto).

Søren Maor Sinay

Chief Operating Officer

Søren brings over 15 years of experience as a strategic innovator and market manager in the international medical technology industry. Søren has served as the director of sales for UltraShape in EMEA, the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Perfaction Technologies, and the Co-Founder of NeoAsia Medical Group in Thailand and Indonesia. Prior to beginning his role as COO of Venus Concept, Søren served as the Regional Company President for Venus Concept in Asia Pacific, applying his experience and expertise to expanding Venus Concept’s operations in the region. Søren is a magna cum laude MBA graduate of the Coller School of Management, and he holds a Bachelor degree in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University.

Chad Zaring

Chief Commercial Officer

Chad has nearly 20 years of sales and marketing experience within the medical device industry with much of that time focused on launching and establishing robotic surgery markets across multiple surgical disciplines.  He has experience with some of the leading global, medical device companies including Johnson & Johnson, Intuitive Surgical, and Medtronic, and was an integral part of driving the acquisition and subsequent integration of Mazor Robotics by Medtronic.  Chad earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA.

Bill Kelley

President, International Sales

Bill has over 30 years of experience in the aesthetic capital equipment business. He has had domestic and international reporting responsibility for sales, marketing, and service in the medical laser industry. Bill has also had full P&L responsibility for the development and expansion of international office operations, and has been an Executive Officer for Candela, Laserscope, Palomar, and Cynosure. Bill earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Providence College’s pre-med program.

Anna Georgiadis

Vice President, Global Human Resources

Anna brings over 20 years of experience in HR and business roles. Prior to joining Venus Concept, Anna was at Loblaw Companies Limited, a leading food and pharmacy leader in Canada, and her contributions extended to Human Resources, Training, Internal Communications, Sales Enablement as well as P&L responsibilities for various business units. Anna holds a degree from the University of Toronto and holds a professional designation from the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA).

Melissa Kang

Vice President, Global Marketing

Melissa has over 25 years of experience in marketing, sales management, consulting, and business development. She has owned her own business as well as managed global brands such as BOTOX Cosmetic®. She has a BSc in Chemistry from UWO, an MBA from Queens University, and is a CPA, CMA.

Yoni Iger

Vice President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance

Yoni has over 25 years of executive experience in these arenas in leading medical device companies such as Lumenis and Syneron, and he used his expertise also toward scientific and general management of start-up companies. Yoni has a Ph.D. in Cellular Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Domenic Di Sisto

General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Domenic leads the Legal Department and is responsible for Venus Concept’s global legal matters. Domenic began his law career in 2004 with the firm of McCarthy Tétrault LLP in its Business Law group in Toronto. He continued to practice business law in progressive in-house roles at Aastra Technologies Ltd. and Compass Group Canada, and most recently at Chemtrade Logistics Income Fund a TSX listed public company, as Associate General Counsel. Domenic was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2004. He has extensive experience leading publicly-traded companies on corporate/commercial transactions, including corporate financings, mergers and acquisitions, and providing counsel on complex legal, governance, and compliance matters. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Queen’s University, a Master of Arts (Financial Economics), and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto.

Boris Vaynberg

Chief Technology Officer

Boris joined Venus Concept after overseeing the Research & Development (R&D) team at Syneron, and leading the R&D Physics Group at Lumenis. With a strong background in developing medical lasers for leading medical device organizations, and a Ph.D. in Lasers and Electro-Optics, Boris brings a wealth of experience and leadership to Venus Concept’s R&D team.
